There is nothing like a rich and delicious appetizer to go with your dinner meal. Golden carrot is a simple vegetable side dish with a sweet and buttery flavor that makes it hard to resist along with the fact that it's fast and easy to prepare. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 large carrots, peeled
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

PREPARATION

  1. Cut carrots into thin slices then cook in boiling water, about 20-25 minutes.
  2. Drain carrots then set aside.
  3. In a skillet over moderate heat combine butter and sugar; bring to a boil stirring well.
  4. Add carrots to butter mixture and cook until carrots turn golden brown.
  5. Serve right away.
