INGREDIENTS
1 whole chicken, cut into 4 serving pieces
2 cups green peas
3 medium carrots, chopped
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 small green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 teaspoon chili pepper
1 teaspoon cardamom
4 cups water
Salt (optional)
PREPARATION
Season chicken with chili pepper and cardamom then place in a medium pot with 1/2 cup water, bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minuets.
Add 1/2 cup water, green bell pepper, and garlic, stirring continuously for 15-20 minuets.
Add peas and carrots and cook over moderate heat.
Add tomato paste and 3 cups water then bring to a boil and simmer while stirring.
