INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup dark cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts (optional)

PREPARATION

  1. Mix and thoroughly blend the first 7 ingredients. Then add the rest and blend well. Pour into a greased 11x16 inch pan(or whatever the next size up from the 9x13 inch pan is) and bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 14 minutes. The secret is to under bake! In my oven it takes about 14 minutes to bake just enough without drying the brownies out. Then refrigerate overnight or for a couple of hours before serving. This way they wont crumble or be overly gooey. ENJOY!!
