Egyptian Style Shrimp Salad is easy to make and can served appetizer too.

INGREDIENTS

  • 10 clean shrimps, seasoned with garlic, salt, black pepper and cumin
  • 1 small tomatoes, cut to slices
  • 1 small yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small red bell pepper, sliced
  • 10 watercress leaves
  • Black olives for garnish, seeds removed and cut to circles
  • Ketchup for garnish
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)

PREPARATION

  1. Place olive oil in a saucepan and sauté shrimps and onion for 30 minuets.
  2. Meanwhile layer watercress leaves in a salad plate then color by color decorate with tomatoes, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper (as photo).
  3. Place the cooked shrimp over the veggies and drizzle with lemon juice.
  4. Garnish salad with black olives and ketchup.
  5. Serve immediately.
