English Pudding

I want to share this yummy and easy recipe especially when you end up with old bread or croissant, u can also use slices of toast if it is like 3 days old! And it will still yummy, when you have 2-3 days old croissant or any pastry you can do that too.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 croissant (ready mad, and could be old ones or not so fresh )
  • 7 eggs
  • 1 litre of milk
  • Vanilla
  • 3-4 cup sugar

PREPARATION

  1. In a mold, add sugar to little water and bring it to caramalization status ,on a very low heat
  2. When u will get the sugar to be caramalized add the croissant chunks and add this mix :
  3. Mix ( eggs + sugar+milk + vanilla ) whisk and add to caramalized sugar
  4. Cook on a bain marie ( put this mold in another pan filled with water ( 2 cups of water or 3 as long as it covers the pudding mold without reaching its rim)
  5. Bake till the pudding is not soggy anymore
  6. Chill and serve
