This is one of my favorite recipes, I use to make it many times, and I love this cake. My mother changed this recipe little bit; she has added some pieces of apples and cinnamon. If you make this cake hope you love it. So you might want to give it a try.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 gram butter (72% fat)
  • 220 gram sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons peeled lemon pulp
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
  • 340 grams of raisin
  • 7 dl (deciliter) flour
  • 1 1/2 of teaspoon of baking powder
  • 170 gram of buttermilk.

PREPARATION

  1. Shake up butter with sugar into foam. At the same time of beating cautiously to add eggs, peeled lemon pulp and vanilla sugar.
  2. Combine raisin, flour, buttermilk and baking powder in a bowl mixing all together until homogeneous
  3. Mix (1+2) to make a dough, then lay it out into the desired mold and bake in an oven at temperature of 180 degrees for 1 hour.
  4. Take the cake out and letting cool (not less than 20 minutes) and serve.
