This healthy and delicious recipes could be made with cream or tomato. Chowder soup is a good choice and will warm you up when you feel cold, but it's not just a winter soup, It's very easy to prepare and you won't have any trouble preparing it. So try it

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoons OO (Olive oil)
  • 2 chopped onion
  • 4 carrot - chopped into cube
  • 3/4 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cups extra knacking sweetcorns
  • 1 bell pepper (any colour) - chopped into cube
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • Water/fish stock
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Majoram
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 pieces pangasius fillets, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 5 pieces tiger prawn - cleaned and scaled

PREPARATION

  1. Heat Olive Oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Add onion, carrot, bell pepper, sweetcorn, celery, and garlic to pot, sauté 10 minutes. Stir in diced tomatoes; cook 1 minute. Stir in the fish stock or water and white vinegar, salt, black pepper, bay leaf, thyme, majoram and bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 30 minutes.
  2. Add fish and shrimp. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Discard bay leaf.

NOTICE

Notes for Manhattan-Style Seafood Chowder:

You can use any firm whitefish in this classic tomato-based soup.

You may use any vegies for this soup.
