Sigara Borek is very nice turkish side dishe

INGREDIENTS

  • Turkish yufka (sort of philodough)
  • Turkish white cheese
  • Parsley
  • Some milk with oil
  • Oil for baking

PREPARATION

  1. Crumble cheese and mix with parsley
  2. Cut yufkadough in triangles and fill with cheesemicture
  3. Roll into 'sigars" and glue the end with milk
  4. Bake in oil and serve hot

HI caroline , thanks for looking at my recipe. feta is the same cheese i use. Originally its made of sheep or goatsmilk, but i use the cowmilk variant. You can also fill the börek with minced meat. good luck
