Spaghetti Bolognese

Spaghetti Bolognese is another exotic and complicated dish from me... but still, this is how I make it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams (1/2 lb) gound/minced beef
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 bell pepper, roughly chopped
  • 1/2-1 chili pepper, chopped
  • 1 tin tomatoes
  • Salt, pepper, harissa
  • Optional: sliced olives, mushrooms.
  • Pasta of choice
  • Grated cheese

PREPARATION

  1. Brown meat in a skillet and add onions. Add garlic. Add tomatoes and bring to a boil. Add peppers and seasoning. If using olives, be careful not to add to much salt as the olives are salty too. Cover skillet and let simmer until reduced to your liking.
  2. In the meantime, cook pasta according to instructions and grate cheese. If you want to you can serve this with bread so you really can soak up all the sauce.
