INGREDIENTS
- Preheat oven at 190.
- Butter 1/2 cup (softened)
- Plain flour 1 cup
- Caster sugar 2 tblspn
- 1 egg yolk
- Strawberry essence 2 drops (optional)
- Strawberry jam 2 tblspn
- Strawberry jelly as req.for decoration.
PREPARATION
- Beat butter and caster sugar together very well.now add in 2 tblspn strawberry jam,beat.remove lump,if any.its important.add in yolk and beat again until its frothy.now add 1 cup of plain flour.mix delicately wid the help of spoon till everything is mixed up.refrigerate for 2 hours.after 2 hours roll out small balls and flat dem up on baking tray and press gently in center.
- Bake for 10 - 12 mins.cool completely.decorate wid strawberry jelly and enjoy :)
