Young Green Peas Soup

Soups are all what you need during wintertime when looking for need something to warm you up on a chilly day. This makes for a flavorful lunch or an excellent addition to fresh bread and green salad for dinner. It's simply delicious, try it and enjoy!

SERVES : [ 2 ] People

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small can Young green pea (280 g)
  • 1 big onion - chopped
  • 3 stalks spring onion - chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic - chopped
  • 1 1/2 mug water
  • 1/2 chicken cube
  • (or)
  • 1 1/2 mug fresh chicken stock
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon non-fat cream
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil or butter

PREPARATION

  1. Heat the pot with Olive oil or butter on medium fire and add the chopped onion, garlic, spring onion. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the young green peas and stir them together for 5 minutes and add the water or the chicken stock, salt and black pepper. Let it boil.
  3. Then off the fire, puree the soup and put it back on low fire, add the cream and let it for 2 minutes then off the fire.
  4. Serve the soup with fried onion and a slice of lemon if you wish with croutons or bread.
