Hibiscus is very popular drink in the Arab world. It has a cranberry-like flavor that’s a zesty beverage perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Hibiscus is made from coppery-red dried hibiscus calyces, high in vitamin C, and is naturally caffeine free.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups water
- 2 tablespoons hibiscus loose tea
- 1/2 cup sugar (optional)
PREPARATION
- Put water and sugar in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and add hibiscus loose tea.
- Cover, and let steep for 15 minuets until beverage is dark red.
- Let beverage cool down before placing in the refrigerator, serve cold over crushed ice.
