Easy Black Forest Cake

INGREDIENTS
- 1 package devil's food cake mix
- 1 Chocolate instant pudding mix
- 3 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1/2 cup Oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- HAND Mix together: cake mix, chocolate pudding mix, oil, water, beaten eggs, almond extract, cherry pie filling and 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips. Stir until just combined.
- Pour batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
- Bake in a 350 degree F (175 degree C) oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove cake from oven and let cool.
- Decorate with whip cream and chocolate shavings, almond flakes, cherries / strawberries.
- NOTE: ADD THE CHERRY PIE FILLING AT THE END - otherwise u will end up mashing the cherries like it did ..hehe..and don't use a hand mixer!!!
