
Fruit Cake

This is one of my favorite recipes, I use to make it many times, and I love this cake. My mother changed this recipe little bit; she has added some pieces of apples and cinnamon. If you make this cake hope you love it. So you might want to give it a try.

INGREDIENTS
- 250 gram butter (72% fat)
- 220 gram sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons peeled lemon pulp
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- 340 grams of raisin
- 7 dl (deciliter) flour
- 1 1/2 of teaspoon of baking powder
- 170 gram of buttermilk.
PREPARATION
- Shake up butter with sugar into foam. At the same time of beating cautiously to add eggs, peeled lemon pulp and vanilla sugar.
- Combine raisin, flour, buttermilk and baking powder in a bowl mixing all together until homogeneous
- Mix (1+2) to make a dough, then lay it out into the desired mold and bake in an oven at temperature of 180 degrees for 1 hour.
- Take the cake out and letting cool (not less than 20 minutes) and serve.
