Pizza with Shrimp
Italian cuisine
The pizza in this photo is topped with shrimp and olives, but for those of us who don't eat seafood for various reasons, I'm sure you can come up with something else. Pizza just doesn't last from our house; the one in the picture apparently serves 2 ppl.

INGREDIENTS
- (Dough)
- 2.5 dl lukewarm water
- 1/2 pkt yeast
- 6 dl wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- (Tomato sauce)
- 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 tin pureed tomatoes
- 1 dessert spoon harissa (or more, or less)
- salt
- (Toppings of your choice)
- Grated cheese
PREPARATION
- Pour water over yeast and stir until dissolved. Add most of the flour. Add salt, oil and the rest of the flour. Cover with clingfilm and a towel and leave to prove for about 30 minutes.
- Set oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
- Fry the onions lightly, add garlic and then add the tomatoes. Season and let simmer for about 15 minutes or until reduced to your liking.
- Prepare toppings.
- Knead dough on a clean surface and use rolling pin to create a thin crust. Transfer it onto baking tray (or ceramic platter like I use, it is pre-heated in the oven as it warms up). Spoon tomato sauce over surface, make sure to cover evenly. Add toppings and cheese, also making sure to spread these evenly.
- Bake in oven for 20-30 minutes or until cheese is melted and slightly brown and crust is, well, crusty...
