Potatoes cakes are really a tasty appetizer that can be served at any time. You either can take it just like the way described here or you can serve it with Soto (consists of press rice, chicken with soup and other garnishing). Try it and enjoy the taste.

INGREDIENTS
- (A)
- 5-6 medium size potato - boiled and mash
- 100 g minced beef
- celery leaves - minced (add the amount according to
- your liking)
- fried onion - (add the amount according to your liking)
- black pepper
- salt
- 1 egg - beaten
- (B)
- 3 medium size carrots - clean and cut into 3 pieces each
- 1 can (300 g) of extra knacking sweetcorn
- young green pea - 4 tablespoon (add more if you like)
- 1/2 teaspoon fat free butter
PREPARATION
- Fried the minced beef with 1/2 teaspoon of oil with a little bit of salt and black pepper till brown.
- Mix all the ingredients in (A), the minced beef, salt, black pepper and make into balls
- Heat the oil and beat the egg. When the oil is hot, dip the potato cake inside the beaten egg and fry into the oil hot till it is golden brown both side like in picture. Then take it out.
- Boil the water. When the water is boiling hot, add your carrots and let it boiled for 10 minutes and when it is half soft,take it out and drained.
- Put the still hot drained carrots, young green peas the sweet corn together with the butter. Mix well and then serve it with the potato cakes.
NOTICE
Notes about Potato cakes with vegies salad
-I made 18 balls of potato cakes with this recipe.
-If your potatoes are soft, you may add flour to it.
-You may steam the carrots if you like.
-You may boiled the potatoes one day earlier before making it in order to avoid soft or melted in the oil!
