
Young Green Peas Soup

INGREDIENTS
- 1 small can Young green pea (280 g)
- 1 big onion - chopped
- 3 stalks spring onion - chopped
- 3 cloves garlic - chopped
- 1 1/2 mug water
- 1/2 chicken cube
- (or)
- 1 1/2 mug fresh chicken stock
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper
- 2 tablespoon non-fat cream
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil or butter
PREPARATION
- Heat the pot with Olive oil or butter on medium fire and add the chopped onion, garlic, spring onion. Stir and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the young green peas and stir them together for 5 minutes and add the water or the chicken stock, salt and black pepper. Let it boil.
- Then off the fire, puree the soup and put it back on low fire, add the cream and let it for 2 minutes then off the fire.
- Serve the soup with fried onion and a slice of lemon if you wish with croutons or bread.
