Our Zalabya is a preparation of dough made particularly from flour, sesame, sugar and salt fried with olive oil. This recipe is different than other recipes holding the same name; it's not among sweets. It can be served as breakfast with hot mug of tea.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups flour
- 2 1/2 cups water (less or more)
- 10g of yeast
- 1/4 cup of sesame
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Sprinkle of salt
- Olive oil for frying
PREPARATION
- Combine flour, yeast, sesame, sugar, salt and 1 cup of water in a bowl mixing all together to make a dough, add more water if required
- Make the dough in one ball-shaped and place in a large bowl, cover the bowl for nearly one hour
- When the dough is ready cut it into small ball shapes. Prepare a tray wiped with Olive oil
- Place oil in a circular frying pan and place it over heat. Add the dough to the pan and figure it into a circle-shape
- Increase the heat of and fry the first side of zalabya until it turns into a golden brown then flip it to the other side and let it fry until it turns to golden brown too
- Put the zalabya into the serving plate and serve hot.
